OIL OF THE WEEK: ROSE OIL

The way to extract oil from roses is mainly through distillation. Rose petals are boiled at high temperatures and as the oil separates from the petals and sticks to the surface it is removed with special instruments. It is extremely important that these roses are cultivated without chemicals or pesticides. It takes about 40 to 50 pounds of rose petals to make 1 ounce of Essential oil.

 

Helps digestive system, calming relaxing and great for rejuvenation of skin tissue and anti aging,  Also use for treating depression and balancing the skin. Rose essential oil efficiently relieves spasms in the respiratory system and intestines, as well as muscular spasms

in various limbs. It also helps cure convulsions, muscle pulls, cramps and spasmodic cholera caused due to spasms.

It is a powerful antiseptic therefore great for the treatment of wounds. It is great for fading of stretch marks, surgery scars, and fat cracks associated with pregnancy and delivery. Much of this is due to the antioxidant activity [8] of rose essential oil, which spurs on the healing processes of the skin.

 

 

Me time Tip: Fill a bath tub with warm water sprinkle with few drops of BE: Love Face oil and a few fresh rose petals and submerge in bliss and relaxation. This is a great way to say good night to a busy and or stressful day while doing so much for your skin and health.

Chose your thoughts wisely let them be positive and your words will also reflect this positive estate of mind. Do not engage in negative conversation about others or anything in general. Best to choose whom you want to hang a round because it feels good to be around them and because they inspire you. Slowly but surely you will become more and more attracted to “good feeling positive” people you will seem to attract them naturally without effort.
